The Concordia Orchestra is using music to help churches in Minot, N.D. The orchestra will receive a freewill offering at the Senior Honors Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24 in Memorial Auditorium.
Donated funds will be given to the Flood of Love recovery campaign that benefits Minot’s flood-damaged ELCA churches. The musicians will then travel to Minot on March 25 to perform a free concert for the community.
Both concerts features four senior soloists and the first winner of the Biennial Concordia College Orchestral Conducting Competition. Performances are open to the public free of charge.
